Fuse Audio Labs RS-W2395C is a free EQ plugin that pairs Baxandall-style bass and treble shelves with a semi-parametric midrange band. Developed with hardware designer Roger Schult, it suits hobby producers who want broad tonal adjustments and character without navigating a dense set of controls.
The low shelf switches between 80 and 110 Hz, while the high shelf offers 2 and 5 kHz settings. Three selectable midrange Q values let you adjust how widely that band affects the sound. The bands interact slightly, encouraging you to shape the overall balance rather than treat each adjustment in isolation. A separate drive control adds grit when a cleaner EQ treatment feels too restrained.
Use RS-W2395C to brighten vocals, soften cymbals, give guitars and synths more presence, or tighten the low end. It also works for gentle tonal shaping across a mix bus. On Windows, it supports 32-bit and 64-bit VST2, VST3 and AAX hosts, making it suitable for compatible FL Studio and Ableton Live setups. Requirements include Windows 7 or newer and 2 GB RAM.
