Studiologic Numa Player is a free virtual instrument for producers and keyboard players who want several playable sounds within one plugin. Its four-part layout draws on four included sound libraries, with any instrument assignable to any part. Separate keyboard ranges let you arrange sounds across your controller, while up to four dedicated controls per instrument provide straightforward sound adjustment.
The resizable interface adapts to different monitor sizes, making it practical for both compact laptop setups and larger studio displays. Numa Player also pairs with Studiologic SL keyboards, though it is not limited to those controllers.
Version 1.0.3 adds ASIO support on Windows, improves the sound libraries and reduces memory allocation. It also introduces a pitch-tuning control, corrects distortion and compressor/limiter behavior, and addresses a VST3 crash.
For hobby producers working in FL Studio or Ableton Live on Windows, the VST3 format is the relevant choice. AU support is for compatible Mac hosts, including Logic Pro. Numa Player suits anyone looking for a free, multipart instrument with flexible keyboard assignments and accessible controls.
