APU Dynamics Optimizer is a standalone tool for shaping the loudness and dynamics of finished audio files. It analyzes your track’s loudness distribution and compares it to a target curve, then applies precise compression and expansion across the entire waveform to match that target. You can choose between Uniform or Normal distribution types and skew the latter to emphasize louder or quieter sections. The source percentile range lets you exclude unwanted audio from the process. Once optimized, you can preview the result in real time and tweak the character using the same parameters found in the APU Loudness Compressor. Export is always 32-bit floating point WAV at the original sample rate, with optional limiting or bypass for external limiting.
