Sonic Extensions Undercurrent is a sound expansion for Omnisphere 2.8 or higher, built for producers and composers working with dark electronic music, atmospheric passages and intense textures. Designed by Ignacio Longo, it includes more than 2,000 sounds across eleven categories, with over 300 new Soundsources providing the raw material.

The collection ranges from restrained, moody ambience to more aggressive tones, including sounds recorded in underground tunnels. Modular Multisampling gives individual keys distinct timbres or gestures, adding variation as you play. Custom Controls let you reshape the material and turn sustained textures into pulsing rhythmic parts without starting a patch from scratch.

Two dedicated effects extend the sound-design options: Under Fire combines saturation, compression and EQ, while Under Echo creates pitch-shifted ambience. Together, they offer ways to add grit, shape tone and build atmospheric space.
