BPB Dirty Filter is a free filter and tube distortion effect for producers who want to shape a sound’s frequency range and add grit without managing a full multiband processor. It suits hobby musicians working on anything from subtle tonal cleanup to heavily saturated textures.

High-pass and low-pass filters each cover 20 Hz to 20 kHz, with selectable slopes of 12, 24, 36 or 48 dB per octave. Use them to define the frequency region you want to work on, then raise Drive to introduce resonance and tube-style saturation. Settings above 50 push the effect into stronger distortion. The Mix control blends processed and original audio, making it easier to retain some of the source sound when using aggressive settings.

With Drive at zero, Dirty Filter becomes a transparent filtering tool for reducing low-frequency hum or trimming high-frequency noise. An output control provides ±12 dB of level adjustment.
