Soundop Audio Editor is a standalone Windows application for detailed audio editing, recording and multitrack mixing. It suits hobby producers who need to clean up recordings, prepare samples or assemble audio projects in a dedicated workspace. Rather than running as a plugin inside your DAW, Soundop hosts VST and VST3 effects within its own editing and mixing environment.
For individual files, you get sample-accurate cutting, spectral editing, noise reduction, normalization, time stretching and pitch shifting. Automatic crossfades help smooth edit boundaries, while an FX Rack lets you apply an effects chain to a selected region.
The multitrack workspace supports unlimited audio and bus tracks, sends, sidechain routing, and automation for tracks and clips. Punch-in, punch-out and loop recording provide control over takes, with ASIO support for low-latency recording and playback at up to 24-bit/192 kHz.
Built-in processors include EQ, compression, limiting, reverb and delay. Broad file-format support, metadata editing and ACID loop information editing make Soundop useful for preparing audio before importing it into FL Studio, Ableton Live or another production setup.
