Inear Display Incipit is a creative delay effect for producers, musicians and sound designers who want to reshape existing audio, from restrained dub echoes to pitch-shifted textures. Its three effect chains combine pitch shifting and delay, with output level and pan controls to place each layer in the mix. Run the chains in parallel for layered processing or in series for more involved transformations, then add tempo-synced repeats or ping-pong movement.

A global multimode filter offers lowpass, highpass, bandpass and notch options, with independent routing choices for each chain. Four LFOs and three macro modulators provide movement through a modulation matrix with positive and negative amounts. Modulation runs at audio rate, and the LFOs can reach 1000 Hz for more extreme results.

For hobby producers working in Windows VST hosts such as FL Studio or Ableton Live, Incipit offers plenty of starting points: over 80 factory presets, a controlled randomizer and MIDI Learn. Dry/wet adjustment, undo/redo, a resizable interface and the ability to copy settings between chains help keep experimentation manageable.
