Steinberg GrooveAgent SE 5.2.20

Groove Agent 5 is a drum production instrument that combines acoustic kits, electronic drums, and MIDI patterns in one interface. At its core is The Kit, a meticulously recorded acoustic drum set captured at Teldex Studios in Berlin using Neumann microphones and outboard gear. It delivers 47 articulations, five round robins, and up to 20 velocity layers for highly dynamic performances. Beyond acoustic sounds, Groove Agent 5 includes over 30 new kits for EDM, Trap, and other electronic styles, created by producers like Rawtekk and Audeka. These Beat Agent kits now include bass samples, melody parts, and other hits, and the Style Player works with them too. Songwriters get 20 new MIDI Styles covering rock, funk, soul, jazz, reggae, and more, each played by top drummers. The Decompose feature lets you split any sample into tonal and noise components, then drag them onto pads to build layered drums. Pitch envelope editing opens up drops and build-ups for EDM. With a resizable interface and support for VST, AU, and AAX, it fits virtually any DAW. Groove Agent 5 suits hobby producers making beats, songs, or electronic tracks.
