OSC Audio healingBOWL is a sampled Tibetan singing bowl instrument for producers who want resonant bells, gentle sustained tones, and calm melodic textures. Its recordings capture bowls of different sizes at multiple velocities, with round-robin sampling providing variation between repeated notes. The sounds are tuned for musical use, and polyphonic playback lets you build chords as well as single-note patterns.
Four keyswitch articulations give you access to two bowl sounds, each with hit and sustain options. C-2 and D-2 select Bell 1 articulations, while E-2 and F-2 handle Bell 2. This makes it practical to switch playing styles within a MIDI part.
Delay, reverb, and chorus are enabled by default but remain optional. Filters, a full ADSR envelope, and real-time tuning controls let you adjust the tone, note shape, and pitch to fit your arrangement.
For hobby producers working on ambient tracks, meditation music, or atmospheric layers, healingBOWL offers a focused acoustic sound palette. Windows 10 or later is required, with standalone, VST2, and VST3 options for use outside a DAW or in hosts such as FL Studio and Ableton Live.
