Variety Of Sound NastyDLA mkIII is a free delay effect for Windows, available in VST3 format. It gives hobby producers a way to add echoes to their tracks, with cross-feedback delay modes for exploring how repeats interact. It suits Windows-based production setups in FL Studio, Ableton Live, and other DAWs that support VST3 effects.
Version 3.0 introduces oversampling and VST3 support, alongside updates to the processing behind the effect. Compression, gain staging, and cross-feedback behavior have all received attention in this revision. These changes focus on refining the existing delay rather than replacing it with a different kind of processor.
For producers looking for a free Windows delay plugin, NastyDLA mkIII offers an option for experimenting with repeats during songwriting and mixing. The release also addresses several bugs; the included release notes and revised manual provide the finer details of those changes. The download is approximately 29.78 MB, making it a small addition to a compatible plugin collection.
