TOMO Audiolabs LISA is a dynamic EQ plugin that models a six-band analog processor with independent opto compression and expansion on each band per channel. Built for mastering and detailed mix work, it suits home producers who want frequency shaping that responds to the music rather than staying fixed.
Use it to manage kick and bass weight, soften vocal sibilance, or tame sharp cymbals while retaining top-end clarity. Mid-side processing helps focus adjustments within a stereo mix, while the separate mono version handles individual vocals, drums, and bass tracks.
Each band offers soft-knee dynamics with program-dependent behavior around a 3:1 ratio or a selectable 10:1 setting, plus slow, medium, and fast attack and release options. Proportional bandwidth narrows as boosts or cuts become stronger. Its parallel band design provides a different response from conventional serial EQ processing, making larger adjustments more forgiving.
Additional controls include Mono Maker, Stereo Width, Auto Listen, Headroom, and TMT. TX Drive adjusts transformer saturation separately from the model’s other analog characteristics. The Windows version supports 64-bit VST2, VST3, and AAX hosts, including compatible FL Studio and Ableton Live setups.
