Psychic Modulation Electro Expansion Pack for PulseCode WiN macOS-ohsie

Psychic Modulation Electro Expansion Pack adds layered electronic drum sounds and ready-made presets to PulseCode. Aimed at producers making techno, minimal wave and old-school electro, it provides over 300 Synth Drum Elements, 256 Drum Presets and a bank of 128 PulseCode patches. This is an expansion for PulseCode, rather than a standalone drum plugin.

The sound library pairs 12-bit samples created and resampled with the Machinedrum SPS-1 with rougher 8-bit versions processed through the Yamaha VSS-30. Blend these sources for lightly textured percussion or push the lo-fi layer forward for a dirtier drum sound.

Each Element has six layers: Core, Grit, Hit, Body, Reverb and Noise. Inside PulseCode’s drum editor, you can change layer levels, tuning and other settings to reshape a single Element into different drum sounds. Hit adds attack, Body reinforces the low end, and the vintage Microverb-sampled reverb supports gated and unconventional drum ambience. The Noise layer adds white noise alongside the reverb, particularly useful when shaping snares and hi-hats.
