MT Power DrumKit 2 – now free – Win/Mac

MT Power DrumKit 2 is a free acoustic drum instrument for producers building rock and pop tracks. Its multilayer sample library uses drum recordings already shaped with compression and EQ, giving hobby musicians a practical starting point without having to process every sound from scratch.

The built-in mixer lets you balance the kit within your arrangement, with a compressor on each channel for further control. If you prefer starting with an existing rhythm rather than programming every hit, the Groove Library provides preset patterns for putting together drum accompaniments.

Downloadable mapping presets cover GM Standard and several established drum instruments, including Addictive Drums, Superior Drummer and EZdrummer, helping when working with other drum samplers.

The supplied information lists Windows and Mac support, with VST and AU versions in 32-bit and 64-bit formats. Windows users should choose VST for compatible hosts such as FL Studio or Ableton Live; AU is intended for Mac hosts such as Logic Pro. The described first-launch authorization requires a code generated on the developer’s website, without an email address or account.
