Amenbreak is a performance-focused sample mangling plugin built around multiple playheads, automatic slicing, and on-the-fly sequencing. It lets you trigger slices via MIDI, regenerate patterns on demand, and apply bespoke effects like probabilistic reverses, stutters, jumps, and stretches. The Amen knob randomizes sequences, while the Break knob destroys them for glitchy textures. A multi-playhead engine enables retriggering without clicks, phasing, and configurable crossfades. Automatic splicing uses algorithms to cut your sample, and slice memory saves markers per file via content hash so you can reload and keep cutting. Transport sync follows your host tempo. The free version is mono; paid upgrades add pitch-preserved time-stretching, stereo output, decimation for lo-fi grit, and real-time folder tunneling. Ideal for hobby producers in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic who want to chop breaks and loops into evolving rhythmic patterns without deep editing. MIDI learn and standalone MIDI control make it playable live. Windows VST3, 10 MB.
