Batch Audio Converter is a Windows utility for converting audio files in bulk. It is aimed at hobby producers and anyone who needs to move large numbers of audio files between formats without doing them one at a time. Drag files in from Explorer, pick an output format, and the program handles the rest. It reads and writes common formats including MP3, WAV, FLAC, AAC, OGG, M4A, AIFF, WMA, OPUS, AC3, MP2, WV and WEBM. You can adjust bitrate, sample rate and channel layout (mono through 5.1 and 7.1), choose an output folder, and keep ID3 and other metadata where the format allows. A loudness normalization option uses the EBU R128 standard to even out volume across tracks, which is handy for podcasts, sample packs or mixed libraries. Version 2.1 adds an output volume level setting. It is a standalone converter rather than a plugin, so it works alongside FL Studio, Ableton or Logic when you need files in a different format.
