4drX Plugins LoopRecorder is a live looping and audio recording utility for producers who want to capture ideas without repeatedly setting export markers. This Windows version works as a VST2 plugin or standalone application, making it useful for beatmakers, live performers and musicians building layered recordings.

Place it in your signal chain to record incoming audio to temporary buffers, then keep the take you want or enable Auto Save to collect recordings as you play. An additional buffer gives you time to decide whether a performance is worth saving. Drag-and-drop support helps move recordings between LoopRecorder and your DAW, while automatic filenames can include custom tags, bar information or host tempo.

Loops can follow your host’s bars and beats or run with independent start and stop control. Auto Load supports overdubbing, optional crossfades smooth loop boundaries, and up to 50 undo steps let you revisit changes. MIDI Learn provides controller access to most buttons and toggles. Recordings save as WAV files at 16, 24 or 32 bits, and playback supports WAV, FLAC, AIFF, MP3 and OGG.
