THR MB-Control is a three-band multiband compressor for Windows, aimed at home producers and audio engineers who want separate dynamics control across different frequency ranges. Available in VST3 and AAX formats, it suits compatible hosts such as FL Studio and Ableton Live.

Instead of applying the same compression across the entire signal, MB-Control lets you work with three frequency bands. Automatic gain compensation can operate globally or per band, helping offset the volume reduction caused by compression. Release timing can also follow your track’s BPM, making it easier to set compression recovery in relation to the music’s tempo.

Each band includes independently switchable saturation for adding tonal character. The saturation stage is configured to keep perceived output volume consistent, reducing the need for level adjustments when it is enabled. Built-in oversampling helps limit aliasing and unwanted artifacts.

For hands-on adjustments, the frequency visualizer displays each band’s main or sidechain input level alongside cutoff and threshold settings. Dragging the cutoff and threshold lines gives you direct control over those parameters without leaving the display.
