Ample Guitar WF is a virtual instrument that recreates the sound of a 1959 Gretsch White Falcon hollow-body electric guitar. It offers two distinct sample libraries (finger and pick) and 12 articulations including sustain, palm mute, natural harmonic, hammer-on/pull-off, legato slide, slide in/out, pop, pinch harmonic, dead note, mordent and tap. The plugin includes Riffer 4, a MIDI editor for plucked strings with a strumming and chord system, dual piano roll/guitar tab views, string visualization that prevents impossible fingerings, and full MIDI import/export. Strummer provides chord detection and rhythm patterns, while Tab Reader 4 imports Guitar Pro files (GP3–GP8). Built-in effects include 8-band EQ, compressor, delay and convolution reverb. It supports drop tuning down to D1 and runs as VST2, VST3, AU, AAX and standalone on Windows 7–11 and macOS 10.15+. The 6.3 GB library requires about 20 GB disk space and an Intel i5 or better. Ideal for hobby producers in FL Studio, Ableton or Logic who need realistic acoustic-electric guitar parts without recording a real instrument.
