Emergence is a real-time granular effect for producers who want to reshape audio into intricate rhythmic repeats, unusual textures, or layered soundscapes. It suits hobby musicians and sound designers looking for experimental processing beyond a conventional delay.

Four independently adjustable grain streams let you build contrasting layers from the same input. Pitch shifting spans two octaves in either direction, while ADSR envelope controls shape how each grain develops and fades. Tempo synchronization keeps time-based settings aligned with your project, and freezing the buffer lets you continue manipulating captured audio.

Movement comes from LFOs, macros, input/output audio modulation sources, and parameter randomization. You can lock selected parameters while randomizing others, making it easier to explore variations without changing every setting. Emergence supports up to 600 simultaneous grains, with practical limits determined by your CPU.

A preset manager, contextual help, resizable interface, and collapsible sections support everyday use. On Windows, it requires Windows 10, OpenGL 3 or higher, and a 64-bit VST3 host such as FL Studio or Ableton Live. VST2 is not supported.
