BeatSkillz SampleX v3 is an audio effect for producers who want to bring vintage sampler character to their tracks. Rather than acting as a sound library, it processes your audio using a dynamic convolution system built from recordings of real hardware samplers at different levels. This approach captures level-dependent tonal characteristics, making it useful for hobby producers exploring older sampling textures in modern sessions.

Version 3 adds resonant low-pass and high-pass ladder filters for further tonal shaping. Use them to trim the frequency range or emphasize the filter’s resonant character alongside the sampler coloration. A stereo-width section also lets you adjust the image, with options spanning mono and mid/side expansion.
