Sugar Bytes Effectrix 2 is a real-time multi-effects sequencer for producers, sound designers and DJs who want to reshape audio with rhythmic processing. Its 32-step grid lets you draw where effects happen, making it practical for drum fills, vocal chops, shifting textures and transitions without building long automation lanes.

The 14 effects cover looping, granular processing, ring modulation, filtering, phasing, chorus, flanging, delay and reverb, alongside digital degradation and vinyl-style tape stops or scratching. Use them to repeat a hi-hat, hold and stretch a snare, or give a guitar phrase a more synthetic character.

Sequence length and swing help tailor the groove, while up to 12 complete patterns provide room for variations. Per-step modulation includes parameter transitions, step sequences, envelope following and tempo-matched LFOs, allowing processing to evolve rhythmically or respond to incoming audio. Flexible signal flow, individual dry/wet settings and a global mix control help balance the results against the original sound.
