iZotope Nectar 4 Advanced is a vocal processing suite for producers who want to balance lead vocals, build harmonies, and shape backing parts within their mix. It suits home-studio musicians and hobby producers working on vocal tracks, demos, or layered arrangements.

The Auto Level module manages incoming vocal volume at the beginning of the signal chain, helping keep performances consistent with a transparent approach to level control. For fuller arrangements, Voices creates vocal layers using presets you can adjust, while Backer generates supporting vocal textures from eight styles or an imported acapella.

Vocal Assistant offers a guided interface for making processing choices without having to adjust every detail manually. Nectar 4 also works with Audiolens for vocal tone referencing, giving you a reference-based starting point rather than leaving you to mix entirely from scratch.

The Advanced edition includes 13 component plugins, so you can use individual processors in custom vocal chains and DAW templates. This Windows version is aimed at producers using setups such as FL Studio or Ableton Live.
