SoundGhost Scatter is a granular audio effect for Windows that turns incoming sound into shifting stereo textures. It records small loops, known as grains, then moves their playback through the audio buffer and across the stereo field. Rather than simply repeating a signal, Scatter rearranges fragments of it into layered ambience or irregular rhythmic patterns.
You can combine up to 64 grains for dense, flowing textures with a shimmer-reverb character, or reduce the grain count to leave more space between scattered events. Pitch controls cover four octaves, with options to lock grains to individual pitches or introduce random variation. An integrated Space reverb adds another layer of ambience to the granular processing.
Scatter suits hobby producers and sound designers who want to reshape existing audio into atmospheric layers. Try it on a melodic phrase for a spacious backdrop, or feed it percussive material to explore unpredictable patterns. Its combination of grain density, pitch variation and stereo movement makes it useful for ambient production and experimental effects.
