Red Rock Sound Comp 609 v3.0.3 WiN [MOCHA]

Red Rock Sound Comp 609 is a Windows compressor plugin inspired by the character of a 1970s British hardware dynamics processor. It is aimed at producers who want musical punch and flexible level control, whether they are working on stereo tracks, mid/side processing or multichannel mixes.

You can shape the compression response with six attack settings, nine release options and five ratios. An external sidechain lets another signal drive the compression, while the sidechain high-pass filter helps keep low-frequency energy from dominating the detector. Parallel compression allows you to blend compressed and uncompressed sound for added weight without fully replacing the original dynamics.

For more demanding routing, Comp 609 supports immersive audio layouts up to 7.1.4 and 9.1.6, including object and bed processing. It also offers up to 8x oversampling and 64-bit floating-point processing. Double-clicking restores a control to its default, and holding Shift enables finer adjustments.

Available in VST2 and VST3 formats, it suits Windows producers using compatible hosts such as FL Studio and Ableton Live.
