Noizedrumz Vol. 2 by Noizefield brings Game Boy-generated sounds to Native Instruments Kontakt and Maschine. Created with Nanoloop on a Nintendo Game Boy Advance, this sample library offers a hardware-rooted palette for electronic beatmaking, from glitch and minimal grooves to house, techno, dubstep and drum and bass. It suits producers who want handheld-console character in their drums and electronic arrangements.
The collection includes 918 WAV samples at 24-bit/44.1 kHz, with stereo and mono material available. Kontakt users get six NKI instruments plus five BooTweak instruments, while Maschine users have nine drum kits ready to explore. Recordings were captured and mastered using a DBX 386, Cubase 5 and Adobe Audition. The Kontakt instruments require the full version of Kontakt 4.2.4.5316 or later; the free Kontakt Player runs them in demo mode.
