Modular V

Arturia Modular V brings the scale and character of a classic modular synthesizer into a software instrument built for hands-on sound design. Its nine oscillators, three filter slots, two LFOs and six envelopes offer plenty of scope for weighty basses, animated sequences and intricate evolving textures. A recreation of the legendary 24 dB/octave low-pass filter shapes the sound, while modules such as the Bode frequency shifter and sample and hold open up more unusual tonal movement. Build rhythmic patterns with the 24-step sequencer, then add dimension with stereo delay, chorus or a 12-stage phaser. More than 600 presets provide starting points when you want to play rather than patch. With mono and polyphonic operation up to 64 voices, Modular V suits electronic producers, retro synth enthusiasts and anyone who enjoys exploring detailed modulation.
