BFD Modern Drummer Snare Selects

BFD Modern Drummer Snare Selects brings together 12 sampled snare drums chosen by Modern Drummer magazine, each a recipient of its Snare Drum of the Month award. The collection explores contemporary metal and wood shell designs, giving producers a varied palette for building acoustic drum parts. Detailed recordings and multiple articulations help capture expressive playing, whether you need a prominent backbeat or more nuanced snare work. Every drum includes a snares-on version, while selected instruments offer brushes, rods, hands and snares-off alternatives. Rim-click articulations add another performance option, and a half-edge articulation supports electronic drum positional sensing. This collection suits producers and electronic drummers who want to broaden their snare choices and bring more playing detail into programmed or performed drum tracks.
