Mod Sound More is a free distortion plugin for producers who want guitar-inspired drive circuits that work beyond guitar tracks. Its five circuit modes use wave digital filter modeling, covering tube amplifier gain stages, transistor fuzz, and diode distortion. That gives hobby producers several approaches to adding grit to synths, bass, drums, or other audio sources.

The main distortion control automatically compensates for gain changes, helping you explore different drive amounts without relying on a louder signal to judge the result. Highpass and lowpass filters are available both before and after the distortion stage, so you can shape what enters the circuit and trim the processed output. A dry/wet control blends the distorted signal with the original, while a separate level control adjusts the output. An animated audio visualizer adds a visual reference during processing.

More is available as a VST3 plugin for Windows 10 or later, making it suitable for FL Studio and Ableton Live setups. On macOS 10.14 or later, it supports AU and VST3, including AU use in Logic Pro.
