Waterharp

Soundiron Waterharp brings the eerie resonance of the waterphone to a deeply sampled percussion and sound-design library. Bowed, struck and strummed brass tines deliver shimmering sustains, unsettling dissonance and dramatic effects, while recordings made with and without water reveal shifting pitches and harmonics. Soundiron explored the instrument with mallets, metal rods, hands and bows, alongside unusual hydrophone recordings and experimental preparations. Beyond the acoustic material, Waterharp includes crafted pads, drones, synth textures and atmospheric soundscapes derived from the original recordings. It suits hobby producers, film composers and sound designers looking for horror cues, suspenseful transitions or an unusual layer in ambient and experimental tracks. Version 3.0 offers an updated interface and articulation menus for navigating its sounds. The library supports the full version of Kontakt 6.2.2 and the free Decent Sampler engine.
