Heartbeat

Softube Heartbeat is a drum synthesizer that pairs vintage analog character with flexible sound shaping for modern beat production. Inspired by 1980s drum synthesis rather than a single classic machine, its modeled analog engine is complemented by selected waveforms. Eight instrument channels cover two bass drums, two snares, two percussion voices, hi-hats and cymbals. Shape deep kicks, woody hits, crisp rimshots, clap-like snares and synthetic toms, or push the controls toward more unusual percussion. The Auto Layer Machine adds scope for experimentation, while built-in Dyna-mite dynamics, TSAR-1 reverb, Filter Echo and output saturation help turn individual hits into a cohesive drum sound. Each channel offers volume, pan, auto-panning and instrument-tailored EQ controls. Heartbeat suits hobby producers and sound designers who want hands-on drum creation, from retro electronic grooves to punchy contemporary beats.
