BFD Metal Snares

BFD Metal Snares expands BFD3 with five metal-shell snare drums built for bright attack, strong projection and lively overtones. Featuring instruments from Sonor, Gretsch, Zildjian, Ludwig and Pearl, the collection covers brass, bronze, steel and aluminum shells with different dimensions and thicknesses. Each snare is played with sticks and offers six versions: natural recordings plus two processed alternatives, all captured with the snare wires on and off. Close microphones, three room ambience channels and two stereo reverb channels give you options for shaping anything from a focused backbeat to a spacious, hard-hitting snare sound. It suits producers working in rock, metal, pop and other styles who want more character in their programmed drums. Choose a processed version for a quick starting point, or shape the natural recordings and combine them with drums from your existing BFD libraries. Requires BFD3.
