Snack The Cat

Snack The Cat by Soundiron turns one vocal studio cat into an unexpected collection of playable sounds. Built from recordings of Snack’s meows, this Kontakt sample library pairs natural cat vocalizations with creatively processed electro percussion, ambient pads, organ-like textures and sustaining synth drones. Use the glitchy drum elements to add character to electronic beats, layer the pads into atmospheric passages, or reach for the original meows when a track needs a playful sound effect. Kontakt presets offer controls for attack, release, pitch shifting and crescendo swells, with automatable parameters for further shaping. It suits producers and sound designers who enjoy unusual source material and compact, characterful instruments. The presets require the full version of Kontakt 3.5 or later, while the audio files can also be accessed in other audio software.
