PolyKB III by XILS Lab is an analog-modelled polyphonic synthesizer inspired by the RSF PolyKobol 2. Its morphing, free-running oscillators let you explore a broad range of waveforms and animate their shape with modulation, making it a versatile choice for warm pads, thick unison leads and evolving electronic textures. Two self-resonating multimode filters, three loop-capable envelopes and two complex LFOs provide plenty of sound-shaping depth. For patches that feel less static, Voice XY introduces parameter variations for each new note, while Space XY positions individual voices in a moving stereo scene. A polyphonic arpeggiator and sequencer support melodic ideas, and the sequencer also works as a 128-step modulation source for rhythmic movement and trance-gate patterns. It suits producers who enjoy vintage synth character but want detailed control over modulation, voice variation and stereo placement.
