Grindhouse

Grindhouse by Big Fish Audio is a cinematic Kontakt instrument library built around gritty, offbeat sounds inspired by 1970s exploitation film scores. Its multisampled collection draws on old, inexpensive and imperfect instruments, delivering a worn-in character reminiscent of dusty vinyl and battered movie recordings. Expect spaghetti western electric guitar, melodramatic strings, retro jungle-movie drums and patches featuring audio clips from public-domain films. These distinctive textures suit indie productions, crate-digger grooves, lo-fi songwriting and retro soundtracks for film, TV or games. Producers and composers who prefer personality over polish can use Grindhouse to build characterful loops, full tracks or unusual layers within a cleaner arrangement. Onboard controls include simulated tube distortion, bass and treble adjustment, plus a high-cut control for further sound shaping. Requires Kontakt 5.6 or above.
