Fix Phaser

Softube Fix Phaser brings vintage-style phase modulation to guitars, synths, drums and vocals, with enough range for gentle animation or dramatic swirling effects. Designed from Paul Wolff’s ideas, it pairs a straightforward modern interface with the character of classic 1970s and 1980s phasing. Sweep rates from 0.01 to 6 Hz let you move between slow, evolving textures and faster pulses, while an envelope follower makes the effect respond to the incoming audio. Phase offset and regeneration controls help shape the movement and tone, and a mix knob balances the processed signal against the original. Three stereo settings give you control over the spread, including a wide mode that creates stereo space from mono recordings. It suits producers who want to add life to static pads, broaden a guitar part or send a drum loop into swirling psychedelic territory.
