Modular Add-On: Mutable Instruments Clouds

Softube Mutable Instruments Clouds brings granular sound processing to Softube Modular, turning incoming audio into tiny fragments you can reshape into entirely new textures. Split signals into grains from 16 milliseconds to one second, then explore their size, pitch and density to move between fractured rhythms and spacious, evolving washes. Drum loops can become twitchy, chopped patterns, while a single snare hit can grow into a sustained ambient drone. Freeze the audio buffer to keep working with one captured moment, or blend an irregular granular delay tail with the original signal for extra grit and movement. Clouds suits electronic producers, ambient composers and modular sound designers who enjoy discovering unexpected sounds through experimentation. This is an expansion module for Softube Modular and requires the host product to use.
