Modular Add-On: Mutable Instruments Braids

Softube Modular Add-On: Mutable Instruments Braids brings a versatile digital macro oscillator to your Modular patches. With over 40 synthesis algorithms, it covers vintage-style waveforms, metallic bells, plucked and bowed strings, vocal formants, percussion, noise and granular textures. Rather than presenting a wall of parameters, Braids uses Timbre and Colour controls to shape several aspects of each algorithm at once, making it easy to explore useful variations. Both controls accept CV modulation for evolving tones, restless rhythms and glitchy sound design. A trigger input and built-in AD envelope let individual algorithms function as self-contained synth voices within Modular. It suits producers who want a broad palette for electronic tracks, ambient layers or experimental patches without building every sound from scratch. This is an expansion for Softube Modular and requires the host instrument.
