Aiyn Zahev – Star Drive for Novation Peak

Explore the hybrid character of Novation Peak with Star Drive, a 64-preset soundset by Aiyn Zahev from Resonance Sound. Designed for the Peak hardware synthesizer rather than as a standalone VST instrument, this collection moves between crystalline wavetable textures and gritty sounds shaped by analog filtering and distortion. Pads span icy digital atmospheres, vintage ensemble warmth and JP8000-style supersaws, while bass patches deliver punchy PWM tones and dense unison weight. Melodic techno and trance producers will find expressive leads alongside unusual sequences driven by random per-step modulation. Carefully programmed effects, velocity response and modwheel assignments add performance control throughout. Star Drive suits Peak owners looking for atmospheric layers, assertive low end and melodic electronic sounds. Firmware version 262 or higher is required.
