Harmonics

Softube Harmonics is an analog saturation and distortion effect for adding weight, grit, and presence without letting dynamics disappear under the drive. Its five component-modelled distortion styles offer distinct flavors for guitars, vocals, drums, bass, and synths, from subtle harmonic enrichment to heavier crunch. Dynamic Transient Control analyzes the incoming signal to help preserve or enhance detail and dynamics as saturation increases. Shape the intensity with the Amount control, adjust the tonal color with Character, and position the high- and low-cut filters before or after distortion. A wet/dry blend makes parallel processing straightforward, while the THD meter helps you judge gentler saturation settings. With presets from Joe Chiccarelli and Howard Willing, Harmonics suits home producers and experienced mixers looking to give individual tracks more attitude while keeping their movement and definition.
