Cassette Keys.02 for SFZ Player

Cassette Keys.02 by THEPHONOLOOP is a sampled keyboard instrument collection for SFZ players, built around two sounds inspired by classic 1980s FM keys. Additional synthesis techniques and sampled transients give the instruments their own character, while recordings through three different cassette decks bring a distinctly vintage texture. Each instrument includes five dynamic layers, offering tonal variation as you play with different velocities. The collection contains 2,193 samples in uncompressed 24-bit WAV format, alongside 12 basic presets covering the cassette decks with and without simulated round-robin. That round-robin option adds variation to repeated notes and helps faster passages feel less mechanical. Suited to hobby producers seeking retro keyboard colors, Cassette Keys.02 can bring character to melodic hooks, chord parts and nostalgic arrangements. It complements Cassette Keys.01 rather than replacing it.
