Oscar

Oscar by Digital Brain Instruments is a standalone tone and noise generator for audio testing, analysis and experimental sound work. Three anti-aliased oscillators cover 0 Hz to 20 kHz, with adjustable wave shapes, frequency-change programs and individual LFOs. Generate steady test tones, explore binaural beats or build shifting layers of tones alongside pink and white noise. Linked oscillators, one-click frequency panels and portamento make it easy to move between precise settings. Route signals to up to six soundcard outputs, send audio to a DAW or editor, or record WAV and AIFF files at resolutions supported by your hardware. MIDI control and session presets help streamline repeatable setups. Oscar suits producers, sound designers and audio experimenters who need controlled signal generation rather than a conventional playable synth.
