Polyverse Manipulator is a vocal transformation effect that turns monophonic recordings into anything from subtly reshaped performances to warped, synth-like textures. Its granular processing alters pitch and timbre, with 10 effects covering formant shaping, harmonics, sound smearing, pseudo stereo and more. Use it to give a lead vocal an unfamiliar character, push an instrument into experimental territory, or reshape rhythmic material into something less predictable. Real-time MIDI control lets you play new pitches for an existing performance and build harmonies with up to four polyphonic voices. Extensive modulation adds movement, while real-time audio processing makes it useful onstage as well as in the studio. Manipulator suits electronic producers, adventurous vocalists and sound designers who want to explore beyond conventional vocal treatments. It supports VST, AU and AAX plugin formats.
