Eventide Instant Flanger Mk II captures the sweeping, resonant character of vintage tape flanging through an emulation of the original 1975 rackmount processor. It moves comfortably from gentle modulation and double-tracking textures to dramatic comb-filter sweeps, making it useful for guitars, synths and creative mix treatments. Shallow, Deep and Wide modes offer different spatial characters, while dual outputs let you build pseudo-stereo width from mono sources. Shape the effect with Depth and Feedback, or use Low Cut to keep low frequencies out of the flanged signal. For movement, choose manual control, an oscillator, an envelope follower or mod-wheel control. The distinctive Bounce parameter recreates the speed-recovery wobble associated with tape-machine flanging. With oscillator sync, retriggering and sidechain-driven envelope control, it suits producers who want vintage-inspired modulation with flexible ways to animate it.
