Bronze Bin

Soundiron Bronze Bin turns an everyday bronze wastebasket into an expressive metallic percussion library for Kontakt. Recorded with fingers, mallets and sticks through a wide stereo microphone pair, its tuned and untuned articulations range from delicate, bell-like notes to rough, resonant clangs packed with shifting harmonics. Version 3.0 adds the Chrome Can, bringing complementary rim, side and bottom strikes into the collection. Beyond percussion, custom drones, pads, ambiences and effects extend these found-object recordings into atmospheric territory. The interface offers controls for envelopes, pitch, vibrato, filtering, articulation switching, crossfading and layering, alongside an adaptable LFO system and 20 sound-designed FX presets. Bronze Bin suits hobby producers and composers looking for unusual melodic accents, textured rhythms or metallic backdrops, whether they’re building experimental soundscapes or adding distinctive detail to mainstream tracks.
