Inear Display Cruelle v1.5 is a distortion effect for producers who want to push ordinary audio into abrasive textures, unstable feedback and glitchy sound design. It suits hobby musicians building aggressive electronic tracks or experimenting with extreme processing on drums, synths and other recorded sounds.

Its analog-style filter offers parallel lowpass, highpass, bandpass and notch outputs. A dedicated modulator drives the filter cutoff, with seven waveform shapes and a rate range of 0.001 Hz to 1000 Hz. Host sync lets you tie modulation to your project tempo, while audio-rate settings open up harsher tonal changes.

The oversampled digital distortion section lets you morph between two algorithms and adjust feedback. Place the filter before or after distortion to change how the modules interact, bypass either section independently, and balance the result with output amplitude and dry/wet controls.

More than 40 factory presets, a randomizer, MIDI Learn and undo/redo help with patch exploration. A resizable, color-coded interface includes a signal visualizer. The Windows version requires Windows 10 or later, runs in 64-bit hosts and uses VST3, making it suitable for compatible FL Studio and Ableton Live setups.
