Abyss by Karanyi Sounds is a Kontakt bass instrument built for deep synth textures, unsettling drones and cinematic low-end. Sampled from the Moog Minitaur and Sub37 alongside the Oberheim Matrix 6 and Matrix 1000, it combines analog weight with heavily processed sound design. Explore clean bass patches, distorted tones, granular textures, glitchy movement and sprawling atonal soundscapes.

Each patch pairs original and effected layers, while multi instruments combine sounds into more complex drones and atmospheric beds. The collection includes over 2,600 samples recorded at 24-bit/48kHz, giving you plenty of material for dark ambient tracks, film cues, game soundtracks and experimental electronic music.

Abyss suits producers and composers who want characterful bass and tension-building atmosphere without starting every sound from scratch. It requires the full version of Kontakt 5.7.3 or later.
