Punctuate

Punctuate by Newfangled Audio is a multiband transient shaping plugin for adjusting attack and impact across individual tracks or a complete mix. Derived from the Transient Emphasis section of Elevate, it divides processing into 26 critical bands modeled on human hearing. Four main controls guide its adaptive algorithms, letting you emphasize punch or soften sharp transients without managing every band separately. Use it to bring out drum hits, tame overly aggressive attacks, or refine the dynamic feel of a finished mix. Its auditory modeling helps keep the results natural, even with substantial adjustments. Integrated metering reveals how the processing responds, while the Filter Bank page offers filter adjustments and individual band soloing for closer inspection. Punctuate suits producers who want straightforward transient control with room for detailed tweaking.
