Ambient Minimalism

Ambient Minimalism by Big Fish Audio is a phrase- and texture-based virtual instrument for building atmospheric tracks, cinematic cues, and spacious backing arrangements. Its 36 complementary patches contain over 1,700 loops, phrases, and one-shots, spanning tonal, experimental, melodic, and rhythmic material. Blend expressive guitar effects, airy vocals, evolving pads, piano elements, and flute phrases to shape anything from a delicate underscore to a layered ambient soundscape. The material shares a common original key, making it straightforward to combine sounds across patches. Twelve key switches let you transpose musical elements as you play, opening up chord changes and modulations without rebuilding your arrangement. NKS support provides hands-on control through compatible Komplete Kontrol and Maschine hardware. It suits hobby producers exploring ambient composition, beginners seeking accessible musical building blocks, and composers who need to develop evocative ideas quickly.
