KorgShift

KorgShift by Sinevibes brings frequency shifting and ring modulation to compatible KORG hardware: prologue, minilogue xd, NTS-1, NTS-1 mkII, NTS-3 and microKORG2. Its frequency shifter moves every partial up or down by the same number of hertz, disrupting harmonic relationships to turn familiar tones into increasingly atonal textures. Switch to ring modulation, powered by a 2× oversampled sine oscillator, for metallic edges and bell-like sounds with spectral components shifted in both directions. It suits hardware synth players and adventurous producers looking to explore dissonant leads, strange textures or clangorous sound design. Carefully mapped controls and built-in lag filtering keep parameter changes smooth and free from adjustment noise. Part of the Sinevibes KorgFX Collection, KorgShift uses DSP tuned and tested for each supported device. This is an effect for KORG hardware, rather than a conventional DAW plugin.
