Chandler Limited® Germanium Compressor

Softube’s Chandler Limited® Germanium Compressor brings the distinctive colour of Chandler’s hardware to a characterful compressor plugin. Its modelled FET gain reduction delivers everything from lively dynamic control to assertive saturation, with clean and dirty modes offering different levels of harmonic intensity. Rather than relying on rigid numerical ratios, its compression settings are tuned for musical results, while diode-based knee options provide different response curves and tonal flavours. Output drive and feedback add further scope for shaping warmth and grit. Use a slower attack to preserve drum punch, lengthen the release for smoother vocals and bass, or tighten acoustic guitars while adding presence. For rock guitars, push the colour to help parts settle into a dense arrangement. It suits producers and recording musicians who want compression that contributes personality rather than staying invisible.
